hello hi,
Thus far our cross-Canada tour has been plenty joyous.  We’ve crossed paths with many fine folks as well as horrendously wacky ones.  Both types have provided us with an arsenal of endless cracks and laughs as we haul ourselves across the country in our rented beast of a van. We’ve endured many a memorable times including the most vicious of snow storms in southern Saskatchewan, a string of tough luck at the Thunder Bay casino slots, two cracks in our windshield, a flat tire, enough free jazz to warp even the most sane of brains (compliments of violinist j. zubot) and a folk show turned dance party where oldies danced with youngies and drunks danced with drunks.  Check out this short ‘video’ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZtIXSpdaYU . It’s of a battle I had with a storm in southern Saskatchewan.
An all around fine time has been had, and will continue to be had aswe kick off the second half of tour tomorrow. Â Our first stop isQuadra Island where we will bask the day away in an outdoor sauna anddeliver another show at the local happy time haunt the Hariot Bay Inn. From there we will launch the album in Vancouver with a release party at the Western Front. Â Please come my Vancouverite friends and family.
– I’d like to see you all.
