Dear Everybody,
A long time it has been since I’ve sent some words. The reason for their absence is due to my being holed up in a small 8′ x 10′ apartment turned studio with my audio guru friend Eric Gaskell and his tiny dog Milo mixing my new album ‘Bouquet of Might & Fury’. Through the dark and burly winter days and nights plenty of dials were turned and mouse clicks clicked to attain a comfy balance with the levels of each song. With over 30 musicians involved and obstacles of many, the lengthy process proved to be the heftiest and most challenging project I have endured to date. Particularly challenging was having young Milo’s wet nose constantly dab into my arm and face while working. There’s just something slightly unnerving about that particular dog habit. Thankfully Milo and I have become far better pals since completing the project.
All in all, I am quite happy and proud of the album and with everyone who contributed their talent and time.
