Dear All,
Here’s a little update as to what I’ve been busy with as of late.
A few weeks ago the year’s biggest video game, Deus Ex, was released internationally by Square Enix / Eidos. I contributed composition for the DLC (Downloadable Content) alongside lead composer Mike McCann of Behavior Music. The game has sold over 2 million copies in these initial weeks and has been praised with high regard by the gaming community.
Secondly, I’m currently having a grand time composing a 70-minute score alongside award winning choreographer James Gregg for a production with dancers from Ballet Jazz de Montreal.  The theme is troubled romance between a Russian heroine and her war-torn lover. It will be performed in an industrial setting with dancers interacting with a small orchestra consisting of an anxt-ridden string section and aggressive drummers, among other interesting instrumentation. We plan to present this show in May, 2012. Stay tuned for details…
I’m also producing and composing for an ipad/iphone app for a soon-to-be-released children’s book by well-known Canadian author Sheree Fitch. With my team at Organism (also the creators of my website), we are currently in the development stages and plan to release the app by Christmas time.
…. and lastly, on top of these projects, I’m writing a few new tunes on my 1950 hand-made German baritone ukulele that I acquired from ebay for a smooth 60$, in hopes to begin recording album #5, soon…
I hope everyone is well. Enjoy the fall fully,
c.w.
